Hi my name is Sharon Ledger i have been invovled with staffordshire bull terriers for the last 20 years. I always wanted to own a bull terrier but after seeing a friends new stafford puppy i was hooked i set about contacting the staffordshire bull terrier club of vic. to see if there were any litters with pups available luckily for me there was a litter out of Ch Borstaff Dicky Doodles with a brindle bitch puppy for sale.
I went for a look and bought her then and there not knowing anything about the breed at the time and with no interest in showing it didn't matter to me what she looked like.
However with a little pressure from her breeder i decided to give showing a try and even though my girl didn't do so well in the ring i was hooked.
A couple of years later we decided to buy another bitch we drove over to S.A and bought Bonnie or Nuklnoz Katana from Carol Smith of Nuklnoz.
We had quite a few success's with Bonnie in the short time we showed her but decided to put the showing on hold to raise our three children.
It's only now that the children are older i have decided to give showing another go with the help of our good friends Bob & Lorraine Wylie of Stafflyte staffords we have bought in new dogs and bred our own girl Staffloch black opal who has been shown sparingly but with good results to date.
Hopefully we will have some new pups to campaign in 2009.
